Marco Tipa is a young sicilian producer. At the age of 6 he enrolled for guitar lessons but soon fell in love with the piano, which he has been studying for 8 years. He went on to study at the Conservatory. He then approached dance and tribal house music, beginning to dj locally. He also started a collaboration with Radio Schiticchio, based near Palermo, coordinating the programming schedule and hosting music special reports. He became well known in Palermo, playing all the best clubs in the area. He started producing too, as self taught at first and finally improving his knowledge and skills attending producer and sound engineer classes in Palermo. During 2014 he has started to collaborate with a dj and producer from Milan, creating the duo Hiizak & Markez. Their track “Rakija”, created with Dave Emanuel, earns them the support from some of the international gotha, like Ummet Ozcan and Blasterjaxx. He slowly gets introduced in the Milan scene and creates connections with the most famous and influential djs in town, like Albertino and Molella. Towards the end of 2014 he decides to fully dedicate to his own project “Marc Typ” entering Art&Music Recording’s roster and is now working on his debut single for the label.
