Dor Dekel is one of the leading dance music Dj/producers from Tel Aviv, a label manager, and the host of the Line Out radio show on 100FM. Former A&R of the international dance department at Helicon records, local distributor of Virgin and EMI, you can say he knows a little bit about the music buisness.
In his country, he worked with some of the biggest local artists, and also formed his side project, ‘Hovevey Zion,’ creating the biggest hit in there in 2007 – “Rotse Banot,” which landed him a national television campaign for Israel’s largest cellular company (Cellcom), and ventured out on a successful club tour. Throughout the years, Dor also had some worldwide remixes and release on labels such as Spinnin’, Kontor, Black Hole, Star69, Big Management and many more. He also released his successful Line Out mixed compilation CD series on Phonokol Records.
As a DJ, Dor has played all of the biggest clubs, events & festivals in Israel, including Ha’oman Tel Aviv, Hangar 11, TLV, Cat & dog, Forum, Supermarket Club, The Gay Parade, Revolution, Ha’oman Jerusalem, and many more. Dor also hosts his own successful radio show “Line Out with Dor Dekel,” every Friday night on 100FM, the most high-rated music radio station in Israel, hosting the biggest names in the industry such as Avicii, Armin Van Buuren, Steve Angello, Bob Sinclar, Paul Oakenfold, Mark Knight, Laidback Luke, and many more.
These days Dor is focusing on his new label – Line Out Recordings, releasing new tracks, remixes and compilations and signing up new artists in the house scene from all over the globe.
